Seaweed harvesters Museum – Plouguerneau - (+33) (0)2 98 37 13 35

The seaweed harvesting Museum presents the evolution of the seaweed trade and the various uses of algae from the early 19th century to the present day.

From the 1st of April to the 30rd of April, and from the 13rd of June to 24th of september, open daily (except on monday) 2 - 6 pm

From the 1st of May to 11th of June : Saturday & Sunday 2 - 6 pm

Price : Adult : € 4 – Concession : 2,5€ - Family (2 adults + 2 children) : € 10

 

Ile Wrac’h Lighthouse – Plouguerneau – www.ippa29.fr

The island can be accessed by foot three hours before and three hours after low tide. Today, the Guards House, which is part of the lighthouse, hosts artits in residence. Exhibitions are organized during the summer.

From mid June to mid September: days and hours depending on tides (check the tide uptated schedule displayed on the Saint Cava car-park information pane). Free.

 

Medieval site of Iliz-Koz - Saint-Michel – Plouguerneau - (+33) (0)2 98 04 71 84

This place shows at the same time the religious life in the late Middle Ages and the disaster of the Leon coast's burying in the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

From mid June to mid September : open daily from 2:30 to 6:30 pm

Out of season : open every Sunday and bank holiday : 2:30 to 5:00 pm

Price : Adult : €3 (free for children under 10)
